The Medicinal Cannabis Industry Australia (MCIA) is the voice for Australia’s licensed medicinal cannabis industry. This encompasses all activities of medicinal cannabis licence holders across research, cultivation and manufacturing and interaction with patients, the medical profession and communities.
MCIA’s focus is on building an industry that enhances wellbeing through facilitating access to quality Australian medicinal cannabis products for Australian and global patients.
MCIA provides stewardship for an economically sustainable and socially responsible industry that is trusted and valued by patients, the medical community and governments. What is ACannabis EVOLVE?
ACannabis EVOLVE will be an innovative, vibrant and engaging online conference held on 16 and 17th March 2021 and bring together participants from across the medicinal cannabis ecosystem.
While held virtually in 2021, ACannabis EVOLVE will still deliver all the benefits of attending a conference in person, including:

Where will the event be held?
This is an online event. You do not have to travel to any specific location. You can participate anywhere that you have Internet access. The event is accessible from desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
Do I need to download or install any information to be able to attend this event?
No. You do not need to download or install any software to participate. You only need to have access to the internet.
How do I register?
How do I log in on the day of the event?
Your login details will be emailed to you ahead of the event. You can use these details to access the online event. This is a “pay per viewer” ticket and available on one device at a time only. You cannot share your email or unique log in with others.
The main reason I attend conferences is to network with my peers and potential customers, how can I do that virtually?
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to connect throughout the conference, including:
- drop into the Network Hub for one-on-one meetings, group chats and themed workshops
- visit the Exhibitor Hall to meet key contacts in real-time
- ask the industry experts your burning questions during the live Q&A sessions in the Auditorium
Can I be involved as a sponsor or exhibitor?

Will I be able to take away any documents or files from the event?
Yes. Like any physical event, we will have a Delegate Bag for you! You can add all of the documents available to the virtual Delegate Bag and then email them to yourself.
The timings of the live sessions are not convenient for me. Can I still participate in the event?
The event will remain open 24/7 for 30 days. Therefore, you can attend whenever it’s convenient for you during this period of time.
Can I invite my colleagues and friends to attend the event?
Absolutely. We are counting on you to invite others! Help us spread the word. You can simply share the link to this website, and they can register at their convenience.
